Get the Lowest Prices :
Remember, the more movers that bid on you, the lower your prices will get. Movers see each other's bids. Here's some tips to create more competitive bidding on your move.
1. Provide an alternate move time - attract movers that are booked for your preferred move time.
2. Allow multiple trips - This allows movers with smaller trucks to bid on your moves.
3. Let the mover choose the truck size - Our small movers are experts at fitting items into their vans/trucks, letting them decide will increase your bids.
4. Require 2 or less people - Many of our small movers are 2 man crews, requiring more people may discourage them from bidding.
5. Provide very detailed move information - Movers want to avoid hassle as well. They are looking for the customer who has entered 'Additional Info' to best describe their move.
Aside from changes to create more demand for your job, you can also follow these tips to lower the price:
1. Move some of the items yourself - Then you will require the mover to move fewer items.
2. Assist the mover - Find a friend to assist the mover, or simply assist the mover yourself. If movers don't have to hire more people, they will bid lower.
3. Only require movers to bring items to the lobby - Movers will bid lower if there are no stairs to climb.
